We are holding an Open Day on the 17th April. Entry is free (although we always appreciate donations). The day will include the following:

– Demonstrations of bell ringing will be taking place throughout the day
(you may even get a pull on the ropes).
Trips up to the belfry every hour between 10am and 3pm.
You will need to be fit and over 12 years of age.
– Guided tours of the inside and outside of the Abbey, on demand.
This will include the Parvise Chapel and Canarie Cell.
(A full tour takes about an hour but if you want a quick overview,
tell your guide who will tailor it to meet your needs.)
– Children’s trails are available for both the inside and outside of the Abbey.
– A collection of historical documentation will be on display for you to browse through.
– Refreshments will be available
– The visitor centre will also be open where you can browse the information on our touch screen,
watch a film demonstrating where the displayed stones came, from listen to some audio clips etc.
